I know you all have been wondering what happened to your submitted orders and why are they taking too long to go through.
But before I go any further in the matter I will explain a few facts to help you understand what’s going on.
Expectations of The Fully Working FCS
When we developed the Free Crowns System we thought about something simple but yet effective that will grant our users with free items without them having to pay a single dollar.
Those items could go from in-game trading goods all the way up to memberships, crowns and all those amazing things that skyrocket your game experience on any particular game.
The system was suppose to gather revenue from the ads around the site plus when you interact all around CAG; and at the end it would give you back a portion of that revenue in the form of goldins and keep the rest to maintain the site alive. Basically the system would share the revenue from the site with you while keeping the site alive at the same time.
And if there was anything left we would make contests with amazing prizes like bundles and other cool stuff.
Because just like I’ve said it before I only created this site as a hobby to help others and not as a lucrative way to make money. Because I knew there was a lot of gamerz out there who will benefit from it. And at the same time it wouldn’t affect any game developers since the system was gonna pay in a legitimate way with real U.S. money.
Where Did All Go Wrong?
I don’t want to blame anyone here other than our lack of experience as developers while experimenting with something new.
Yes, the system can work as expected. But we came to realize that it would need a little more testing and hard work.
CAG 3.0 beta
Now, ChatAndGames is on beta version 3.0b.
In other words we have decided to put ChatAndGames in a testing mode which is now in version 3.0; that’s an approach that we should have followed from the beginning, but unfortunately we thought it was going to be something so simple that it would work right off the back, and apparently; it wasn’t.
So, What Now!?
In order to try to repair the damage done, we have decided that with the new 3.0 beta version the system needed a restart.
Which means that all submitted orders will be cancelled and everyone’s current balance will be set to 50 goldins. Of course new accounts will only have the initial 10 goldins for registering.
The reason being is because we cannot pay $1,000 in real money worth in orders from the shop when the system has barely made enough to stay alive the past few months.
What to Expect With version 3.0b
The shop won’t and will never be locked by surveys again that I can promise you.
We only did that to try to balance the system a little since we were getting way to many orders at once and the system wasn’t collecting enough funds to process them.
You will still be able to collect goldins normally and buy items from the shop once you get the necessary amount of goldins.
The how to earn goldins page will be updated if there should be any new ways to earn goldins.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused and we know that even though the system was granting excessive amounts of goldins there was some work involved on your part. Also some of you played the lotto and the wishing well and that’s why we’ll start you off with 50 goldins after the restart instead of zero.
However, I’m not gonna lie. Those who participate in this new beta version will be considered beta testers and all the items they purchase from our shop are theirs to keep. But in the worst case scenario that the system crashes again we would have to do another restart. So they’re also willing to take the risk.
Although we have learned a few tricks and made this new version more secure so we’re feeling pretty confident that this v3.0b of CAG will be a mayor success.
Basically what we’re looking for right now at ChatAndGames is for beta testers. People who are willing to test our system and are not afraid of another restart.
Those who decide to wait until the system is guaranteed to be 100% functional are in their right to do so.
Please note that during this beta period, inactive accounts for more than 45 days will be completely deleted from our system to save resources. Which means that you have to login at least once in 45 days to keep your account.
That’s it for now, and thank you for taking the time to read this post.
